SUSHI OF GARI VS SUSHI SEKI
Which sushi spot will reign supreme?
Whose tuna toro will be crowned king?
Will Seki's spicy scallop hand roll deilver up to expectations?
Will I declare bankruptsy after receiving the bill?
All these questions and more will be answered after this weekend's virginal trip to Sushi Seki. As a die-hard Gari fan, I have been hard pressed to believe that Gari's apprentice chef, Seki, could reach the masterful approach to omakase (chef's choice) that Mr. G has perfected over the years.
Alas, by next week I will happily answer the question once and for all: Gari or Seki!!!!!
