What You Know About Stuck Inside A Mailbox?

What a dumb shit!
A teenage boy climbed into a mailbox in Brooklyn yesterday and had to be rescued by police when the large green bin locked behind him. Rising to the challenge of a dare, the 16-year-old climbed into the box about 4:45 p.m. after his pals had shimmied it open at Avenue W and E. 27th St. in Sheepshead Bay.

What You Know About Time-Out Teddy?

Let's say your child has been misbehaving...

Maybe s/he hasn't cleaned their room...or...they talked back to their parents...or...made a doody in their siblings' sneakers...etc....

Here is a wonderfully novel and completely ineffective way to punish that little brat...

It's the brand new "Time-Out Teddy"

Time-Out Teddy lets kids know when their punishment time’s up! This adorable, huggable, lovable, plush bear not only measures a child’s “time-out” if they’ve misbehaved, but also aids in teaching youngsters the concept of time. Timer on the teddy’s tummy can be set in increments up to 60 minutes, and when the time’s up, a buzzer rings to let everyone know!

"Oh well, Mom caught me sticking the cat's tail in the electrical outlet again...at least I get to hang out with Mr. Teddy for 30 minutes while I conjur up my next evil act."

What You Know About C.U.S.E.?

Oh no...not in our beloved SYRACUSE!

Do you guys know about the whole "Stop Snitching" campaign that has been stemming up recently? Well, apparently, there have been a bunch of these DVD's that have been filmed up in Syracuse...

Not a big deal, right...

Well, somehow, the director of the film was able to dupe the Mayor of Syracuse into appearing in and endorsing the film. Check out this clip which features the Mayor in the very beginning of the tape.

It's not only the Mayor that seems to be experiencing hardships either though:

FROM THE SYRACUSE POST STANDARD

Video producer shot in wrist

The Syracuse man who duped Mayor Matt Driscoll into endorsing a video filled with drugs, sex and violence, was shot in the wrist Sunday.

James Williams, 24, of 99 MacDougall Place, told police he was walking up Sterling Avenue at 8:40 a.m. between Hudson and Rich streets, Sgt. Tom Connellan said. A passenger in a white car that was driving by got out and fired several shots at Williams. Williams was hit once in the left wrist.

He was treated at University Hospital. His injury was not life-threatening, Connellan said.

Williams, a former city intern, asked Driscoll to do an on-camera endorsement for Constantly Under Surveillance Everywhere Vol. II. Williams is one of the producers of the video.

In it, groups of young men rap about the glories of the gang lifestyle and condemn those who give information to the police.

What You Know About Monday Mustache Madness #3?

Guess what everyone...it's Monday Mustache Madness time!!!

This week's exciting new installment has been brought to you by a broski that often goes by the name, Professor Tickles. Actually, he never really goes by that name...but it would be so much cooler if he did.

Either way, take your time to relish and enjoy the excitement and adventurous Wild West Mustache collection:

Wyatt Earp-Legendary businessman and reluctant lawman, most famous for leading the Gunfight at the OK Corral in Tombstone, AZ, along with his two brothers and Doc Holliday.

Doc Holliday-Dentist by trade, boozer and gambler by design, Holliday was an astute gunman and fierce friend of the Earp brothers.

James Butler Hickok aka Wild Bill-Earned his reputation as an Army scout in the Civil War, adept with a long range rifle. Hickok later killed David Tutt Jr. in a "quick draw" duel - of the many fictionalized such events, this one actually happened - and eventually killed at the poker table in Deadwood, SD. The poker hand he was holding at the time (pair of aces and pair of 8's) is now known as the "Dead Man's Hand."

Harry Longabaugh aka the Sundance Kid-In and out of jails for robberies since he was a teenager, the Sundance Kid eventually joined up with Butch Cassidy's Wild Bunch robbing trains and banks, before fleeing to South America.

Johnny Ringo-College-educated cattle rustler and deadly gunfighter, nicknamed "King of the Cowboys." Died of an apparent suicide, although his gun was fully loaded - it is speculated he was killed either by Wyatt Earp or Doc Holliday.

Bat Masterson-Canadian-born gambler, buffalo hunter, US Marshal (and later, sports writer for NY newspapers!), nicknamed "King of the Gunplayers."
